About the role
- Manage day-to-day household tasks to keep the home running smoothly
- Grocery shop and maintain household and pantry inventory
- Coordinate vendor and service appointments within the home
- Complete family laundry
- Perform light housekeeping and organization (the home is professionally cleaned on a regular basis)
- Prepare simple, healthy meals for the family as needed
- Provide after-school supervision and support for two school-aged children
- Safely transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities using your own reliable vehicle
- Assist with homework as needed
- Provide occasional evening transportation for activities and appointments
- Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive environment
- Pet Care:
- Comfortable working in a home with dogs
- Walk the dog approximately one mile each weekday
- Previous experience as a nanny, family assistant, household manager, or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Competitive pay of $32-$34 per hour, based on experience
- Paid transition and training period with the family's current nanny to ensure a smooth handoff
