We are looking for a Plant Manager to join our team in Peachland, North Carolina, in the Charlotte area. About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for plant operations, including production, maintenance, delivery, quality control, and administrative functions.
- Own plant P&L performance and fiduciary responsibility, managing resources to meet production, quality, service, and cost objectives.
- Drive production performance at or above target levels while identifying and implementing efficiency and continuous-improvement opportunities.
- Oversee procurement and effective use of raw materials, finished-goods production and quality control, and inventory management.
- Ensure timely product delivery, strong customer service, appropriate plant staffing, and effective safety programs.
- This is a full-time, on-site role supporting two shifts, typically Monday through Friday day shift, with on-call coverage and infrequent weekend availability.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance efforts for buildings, grounds, and equipment to support equipment reliability and production targets.
- Partner closely with the Sales team to meet sales objectives, customer requirements, and service expectations.
- Build, develop, and lead a collaborative, accountable plant team while working effectively with company supervisors, peers, and employees.
- About YouWe Require:
- Five or more years of management experience, preferably in a similar or related manufacturing industry.
- A four-year college degree is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to manage and communicate effectively with maintenance and engineering personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- The ability to work well with customers and lead from the front in a hands-on plant environment.
