ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE:JOB DUTIES:Supervises activities of employees engaged in shipping, loading, and unloading of trucksSupervises at multiple plant locations depending on daily workloadOversees packing and distribution of finished goodsMaintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvementsKeeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairsMeets warehouse operational standardsAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS and education requirements:3+ years of supervisory experience required; Shipping experience strongly preferredKnowledge of warehouse software packages (MS NAV preferred) and scanning equipmentProficiency in MS OfficeAbility to input, retrieve and analyze dataFlexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentHands-on commitment to getting the job done in a safe mannerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organizational and time management skillsPHYSICAL Environment & Requirements: Plant/Production facility, occasionally outside, or in-store; Possible extreme heat/cold dependent on seasonContinuously requires ability to follow verbal and/or written directionFrequently requires walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200lbs), bending, and crouchingOccasionally requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing and handlingMay require ability to operate machinery, drive vehicles (truck, car, van, tug, forklift) or use equipment such as hand tools, computers, or general business equipmentCDL license or tug/forklift certification may be required
