About the role

Developing and producing engaging content for live sports programming, the full-time Segment Producer will pitch stories, create high-quality segments, and collaborate with production teams in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Pitch, develop, and write compelling content related to sports news stories Produce segments that support daily shows and special programming while maintaining high production quality Collaborate with talent and production teams to coordinate all creative elements for live segments Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcast Production, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in television news, sports programming, or live broadcast production Proven experience in pitching, developing, and producing live reporter packages and guest segments Strong understanding of broadcast production workflows and newsroom operations Experience working under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment
