On-Call: Availability preferred We are seeking an experiencedCath Lab Registered Nursefor a13-week contract assignmentat a349-bed acute care teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Centerin Poughkeepsie, NY.
Responsibilities: Provide nursing care throughoutCath Lab procedures, including admission, recovery, and discharge Participate indiagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including complex PCI Provide pre- and post-procedure care for Cath Lab and EP patients Administer IV medications and monitor patient response Perform triage, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, and cardiac monitoring Provide wound care and assist with restraints when clinically appropriate Maintain accurate clinical documentation usingCerner Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary Cath Lab team Follow all hospital safety, infection-control, and procedural protocols
Required Qualifications: ActiveNew York State RN License Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab procedural experience Strong cardiac assessment and monitoring skills Experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Preferred Qualifications: Cath Lab experience involvingadmission, recovery, and discharge Cath and EP pre/post experience Ability and availability to participate inon-call coverage
Pay: $65–$67/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
