About the role
Riverside Research Institute seeks a Subject Matter Expert Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Research Engineer to support NGA with infrared sensing, space-based missile warning, data exploitation, and algorithm development. You will engage in EO/IR processing, and collaborate with DoD and industry partners on next-generation sensing technologies.
Ideal candidate has 15+ years in EO/IR algorithm development, OPIR data formats expertise, and advanced Python skills.
