About the role

A specialty machining and welding company that has been in business for over 40 years wants to add a Tooling Technician to their Marseilles IL team, which services Power Plants, Oil and Gas, Pipelines and Processing plants. This role is full-time onsite M-F, 7:00-4:30 with travel throughout the year. The Field Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at customer sites. This role ensures compliance with quality standards in accordance with ISO 9001, providing exceptional service and support to clients while maintaining the integrity of products and systems.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in field service or technical support, preferably in industrial process plants.
Skills:
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
