About the role
Material Handler CFacilitate the movement of raw materials, cardboard, chips and scrap for the Extrusion Department. High school graduate or equivalent Good oral and written communication skills Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines. Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes. Must show basic familiarity with truck operations. Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily. Know the proper placement of all finished product. Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's. Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's. Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour Stooping/Bending Kneeling Standing for long periods of time Inteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
