Location: Winter Haven Hospital – Winter Haven, Florida
Status: Full Time
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PMEvery other weekend requirement
On Call: YesAlways in person

Requirements:
  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing1-years' RN experience in the Hemodialysis in an Acute Care settingBLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart AssociationACLS certification with the American Heart Association
  • The Registered Nurse – Hemodialysis Responsibilities And SkillsWorks in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of Dialysis patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
  • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
  • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
  • Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
  • Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
  • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
  • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
