Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk for a long-term temporary opportunity in Maitland, FL. This onsite role is ideal for a candidate with medical records experience from a law firm, physician’s office, hospital, or similar healthcare environment who is comfortable working with digital records, case management systems, and time-sensitive documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Scan, process, and organize medical records using AI-supported technology.
Upload records and related documents into Filevine accurately and efficiently.
Review medical records for dates, timeframes, and information related to statutes of limitations.
Assist with intake support and phone coverage as needed.
Manage multiple administrative priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Support legal and administrative teams with timely records handling and documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.
Job type: Contract/Temporary, long-term temporary assignment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.Work arrangement: Onsite in Maitland, FL.Required Qualifications and Skills Process, scan, and upload medical records into digital systems. Review records for important dates, timeframes, and documentation accuracy. Support intake and phone coverage while managing administrative priorities. Medical records experience is required.3-5 years of relevant administrative, medical records, legal, or healthcare office experience preferred. Strong technology skills and comfort learning AI-supported tools and case management systems. Experience handling confidential medical, legal, or patient-related information. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment. Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Filevine or another legal case management system.
Previous experience in a law firm, physician’s office, hospital, or healthcare administrative setting.
Familiarity with legal records, medical documentation, or statutes of limitations timeframes.
