Atlantic Electric, LLC is a South Carolina-based electrical engineering and construction contractor. We specialize in airfield lighting, industrial facilities, commercial projects, and water and wastewater treatment plants. We are seeking an Electrical Material Handler to support our warehouse, project teams, and office facilities. Must have a working knowledge of electrical construction parts, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect electrical materials, equipment, tools, and supplies.
Verify quantities and materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
Identify, label, and properly store electrical construction parts.
Stage materials for project crews and jobsite delivery.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or damaged materials.
Coordinate material deliveries and transfers between the warehouse, jobsites, and vendors.
Load and unload deliveries safely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
Follow company procedures for material control, safety, and equipment use.
Qualifications:
- Ability to identify electrical components, fittings, conduit, wire, devices, and related materials. (Required)
- Previous warehouse, material control, or electrical construction experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials.
- Ability to use basic computer programs and inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and delivery drivers.
