About the Role: Linda Richards, an established luxury outerwear and accessories company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Wholesale Sales Assistant to join our Westchester County office. This position supports the day-to-day operations of our wholesale business across sales, production, showroom, trade shows, and e-commerce. The ideal candidate has experience within the fashion industry, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage detailed information and multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through. This role requires regular communication with wholesale customers, factories, and vendors and is well suited for someone who understands the pace and attention to detail required within the fashion industry.
Responsibilities: Process and manage wholesale orders and purchase orders from entry through delivery Communicate with wholesale customers regarding products, orders, availability, and shipments Communicate with factories and vendors regarding production orders, quantities, product details, timelines, samples, and deliveries Track production status, samples, approvals, incoming merchandise, and customer orders Maintain accurate customer, sales, production, and product information Prepare and update line sheets, price lists, order forms, and other seasonal sales materials Coordinate samples and prepare collections for customer appointments, markets, and trade shows Maintain and merchandise the showroom for appointments and seasonal collections Assist with and attend trade shows, markets, and customer events Maintain product information, imagery, pricing, and seasonal updates on the company website and other digital platforms Assist with customer email communications, marketing initiatives, and social media Support day-to-day sales and operational needs as they arise
Qualifications: Prior experience in fashion wholesale, sales, production, merchandising, or a related role Strong understanding of order processing, purchase orders, and the wholesale order cycle Experience communicating with factories and vendors preferred Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and confident when communicating with customers, buyers, factories, and vendors Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform is a plus, including product updates, merchandising, and order management Familiarity with email marketing, social media, and Adobe Photoshop is a plus Comfortable working with spreadsheets, quantities, pricing, order details, and product information Ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy Strong follow-through and ability to work independently Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to travel periodically for trade shows and industry events About Linda Richards Linda Richards is a premier luxury outerwear and accessories company with more than 35 years in the fashion industry. Please Note: This is a full-time, in-person position based in Westchester County, NY - specifically Port Chester, NY. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Westchester County and the NYC/Tri-State area.
