Our Boston/ Quincy, MA location is seeking Business Valuation Interns. The anticipated start date for this role is: June 2027. The anticipated end date for this role is: August 2027.
Primary Responsibilities: Creates customized financial models or work with pre-prepared templates for valuation and litigation assignments. Prepares historical financial statement summaries and perform financial statement and comparable company financial analysis. Modifies and updates valuation and other templates as needed. Collects appropriate data from internal and external sources, including clients, in order to perform the valuation or litigation. Performs research on economic, industry, and market trends impacting the specific entity being analyzed. Reviews, analyzes and interprets data from a variety of secondary sources, including S&P Capital IQ and government and other publicly available websites. Prepares written valuation and litigation reports for clients documenting entity specific information, economic and industry research, financial analysis, and summarizing methods, assumptions, and conclusions. Works closely with Lead Analysts in order to deliver work product on a timely and accurate manner.
Minimum Requirements: Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred. General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data. Willingness to learn new technologies. Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites. Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $30.00 - $34.00.
