About the role
A growing consumer products company in Monmouth County is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong inventory accounting experience and a background in manufacturing. This is a FULLY ONSITE ROLE. Only local candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile inventory accounts (inventory experience required).
- Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Complete bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash activity.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month‑end close, including accruals and closing entries.
- Assist with light financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Use QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting (required).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
