About the role

Almond Grower Sales Representative acts as the primary bridge connecting our organization with the ALMOND growers we serve. Our sales professionals are responsible for identifying and cultivating new opportunities. Their work helps drive the company’s growth and extends our reach into additional markets. The ideal candidate will be located in the California Central Valley and traveling to almond growers throughout CA as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales Growth Establish annual sales goals with management Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and research Build and maintain an effective sales pipeline while providing accurate information to management Provide growers with customized and innovative soil treatment products Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and coworkers Support sales strategies in underdeveloped markets and regions Attend and promote products at trade shows and conferences Work independently with minimal supervision Uphold high ethical and professional standards in all interactions Collaborate with peers and management Complete special assignments as needed
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Business Management, or related field preferred Three years of almond grower focused sales experience in California agriculture is required Current almond grower book of business required Skills &
Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication Strong organizational and prioritization skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to independently manage a territory Data analysis and reporting ability Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Industry-leading compensation package included with a base salary range listed along with a generous performance-based bonus.
