Role Description:
The VA – Veteran Affairs – Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area. This position focuses on identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities with Veteran Affairs facilities and related partners in the sleep and dental space. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and building relationships with VA stakeholders, presenting ap Zme’s solutions, negotiating agreements, and maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities. The role also involves collaborating with clinical and operations teams to align service offerings with VA needs, tracking market trends, and reporting on business development performance. The Business Development Manager will represent ap Zme at meetings, events, and industry forums to strengthen the organization’s presence within the Veteran Affairs community.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong business development and account management skills, including lead generation, relationship building, and negotiation. Candidates should possess experience working with or selling into Veteran Affairs, government, or healthcare systems, with an understanding of VA processes and contracting. Candidates should possess skills in strategic planning and market analysis, including the ability to evaluate opportunities, segment markets, and develop growth strategies. Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clinical and administrative stakeholders. Candidates should possess organizational and project management skills, including pipeline tracking, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. Prior experience in sleep medicine, dental practices, or healthcare services is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area, travel locally as needed, and uphold a professional, inclusive approach to all clients and colleagues.
