About the role
Customer Service SupervisorThis employee aids in supervising all Customer Service functions of order entry while abiding by the procedures set forth by management within the customer support centers (CSC).
Job Responsibilities:
Assists the Customer Service Supervisor in the supervision of all Customer Service Personnel *If applicableActively participates in the training of all Customer Service personnel including new hires *if applicableMonitors the flow of orders to and from the Customer Service DepartmentDeletes corrects or re-enters patient orders as deemed necessaryMonitors phone calls to confirm the proper telephone techniques used by Customer Service PersonnelRead and analyze documents such as patient ordersComprehend pharmacy prescription terminology if applicableEffectively communicate with co-workers and patients alikeHelp with the training of employees if applicableCalculate figures and amounts in reference to frequency and doses dispensed if applicableApply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructionsFairly reprimand and verbally discipline employees according to approved procedures if applicableEducation and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceComputer entry experience necessaryPhysical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
