About the role

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Digital & Mixed-Signal Hardware to lead a growing team developing high-performance electronics for our communications systems, including software-defined radios, space-computing platforms, and phased-array control systems. You will be accountable for the technical quality and on-time delivery of your team's hardware, from architecture and design through production. This is a deeply technical management role, but not an individual-contributor design role. You will stay close to the engineering through technical guidance, design and architecture reviews, mentorship, and critical debug, while building a team that consistently produces excellent work. You will also help establish the standards, tools, processes, and reusable engineering approaches that allow CesiumAstro's hardware teams to execute rigorously and efficiently across sites.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
