Position: Automation EngineerLocation: Raymond, Ohio USA.Perks: Salary + Benefits + Relocation assistance and moreJob Description:A Software (Automation) Engineer who is responsible for automation capabilities in a vehicle development Team.They will be responsible for developing and maintaining SharePoint automated workflows and leveraging Power Platform tools to improve team efficiency, reporting, and data management.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to reduce manual effortCreate and support SharePoint-based solutions, including Lists, Forms, document management processes, and workflow automation.Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights, metrics, and project status visibility.Analyze current business processes and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency, consistency, and data accuracy.Integrate data from multiple systems and platforms to support automated reporting and business intelligence initiatives.Create documentation, training materials, and user guides for automation solutions.Provide technical support for Power Platform, SharePoint, and automation-related issues.Requirements: 2+ years experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps.Experience with automation technologies including REST APIs, custom scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.), system integrations, and Jira workflow automation.Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes and workflows.Ability to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.Experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.Experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.Certification in Microsoft Power Platform preferredMust have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of people and job functions.Has basic project management skills and is able to determine a project timeline.Has developed organizational skills to prioritize workload and accomplish tasks to defined project timeline.Ability to follow up effectively and manage multiple priorities.Can generate creative solutions to problems and is open to trying different and novel approaches.Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships. Works in teams to reach project goals in desired format.Pays attention to detail and sets high personal goals or standards of performanceEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics and/or appropriate comparable discipline.
