About the role

Join the Institute for Regional Conservation and the City of Boca Raton to restore the beach dunes at South Beach Park! On Saturday, May 23rd come volunteer with us where participants remove invasive plant species that are causing harm to the dunes. This allows us to enhance and restore the native biodiversity of the important beach dune ecosystem. There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help repair the essential biodiversity of the South Beach Park. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restoration can be! Please be sure to RSVP if you want to sign up to participate in this event. We recommend that you wear closed toed shoes, and comfortable outdoor clothing, as you will be in full sun. We also recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen! Please bring a reusable water bottle and anything else that may make you comfortable in the outdoors! We will provide the rest. We will send a reminder email before the event so please be sure you sign-up to receive the details.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
