Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for operating rewinding and fabric-cuttingmachines to accurately cut fabric according to specifications, and production requirements while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor fabric-cutting machines and related equipment. Load, position, and align fabric accurately before cutting. Follow product production specifications to produce quality products. Inspect fabric for defects and ensure proper alignment before cutting. Measure and verify cut pieces for accuracy and consistency. Adjust machine settings, blades, and cutting speeds as needed. Keep machines, work areas, and cutting tables clean and organized. Perform routine machine checks and report maintenance issues. Follow company safety procedures and wear required protective equipment. Label, and bundle cut fabric pieces according to production orders. Maintain production records and meet established production targets.
Qualifications: Previous experience operating fabric-cutting machinery preferred. Ability to read measurements, patterns, and production instructions. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle rolls or bundles of fabric. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Work Environment: Manufacturing/garmentproduction environment. The position may requires standing for long periods, repetitive cutting tasks, and handling fabric and production materials.
Physical Requirements: Ability to use hands and arms repetitively. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move around the production area for extended periods.
