The firm is seeking a full‑time Legal Recruiting Assistant to join our Legal Recruiting Department. This position reports to the Chief Legal Recruiting Officer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Schedule interviews with lawyers for candidates. Organize and execute logistics for candidate and offeree events. Assist with implementation of law school 1L events and sponsorships of student organizations. Maintain accurate recruiting data through timely entry and ongoing management of recruiting databases and applicant tracking systems. Provide administrative and logistical support for the firm's summer associate program, including events, programming, orientation, and day-to-day operations. Assist with the collection, tracking, and distribution of summer associate evaluations. Assist with multiple aspects of the lateral associate hiring process. Collaborate with attorneys, professional staff, law schools, candidates, and external vendors to ensure recruiting activities are executed efficiently and professionally. Support additional recruiting initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, including under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience using applicant tracking systems or recruiting databases is preferred. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and a customer service-oriented approach, with the ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with attorneys, candidates, and staff at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of administrative, human resources or recruiting experience in a large law firm or professional services organization.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., viRecruit, FloRecruit).Experience organizing interview schedules and coordinating events.
