The Role: We are looking for an energetic, motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Scottsdale team. As a BDR, you’ll play an important role in growing Rhino’s business by identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective customers, qualifying inbound interest, and building pipeline for our sales team. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and wait for opportunities to arrive. Successful Rhino BDRs are curious, driven, organized, comfortable hearing “no,” and willing to pick up the phone and create opportunities. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively with our sales and marketing teams, using tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach to identify and connect with potential customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Research prospective customers, accounts, and target markets· Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels· Qualify inbound leads and determine sales readiness· Identify customer needs and uncover potential sales opportunities· Schedule qualified meetings and introductions for Rhino’s sales team· Develop and execute targeted email and outbound prospecting campaigns· Maintain accurate prospect and activity information within Rhino’s systems· Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and target accounts· Consistently work toward individual and team pipeline goals· Learn Rhino’s Cisco Meraki and Cisco Cloud Security portfolio and become comfortable discussing these solutions with prospective customers· In-Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday |

What we’re looking for first is the right person to join our team of Rhinos:· Strong desire to serve everyone· Energetic, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your results· Resilient and able to handle rejection without losing momentum· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Strong organizational and time-management skills· Comfortable starting conversations with people you haven’t met before· Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve with the team· Desire to work collaboratively and contribute to a servanthood-team-first culture· Familiarity with Salesforce, Outlook, Excel, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, or similar business applications is preferred· Previous experience qualifying marketing leads or sales opportunities is a plus· Previous experience with cold calling, email prospecting, or web-based customer engagement is a plus· Technology or Cisco experience is helpful—but it is not required.
