About the role

About the Company: This is a travel position supporting some of the nation's most technically demanding projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with extensive experience managing MEP trades, driving schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe project execution.
About the Role: The MEP Superintendent will lead all field operations related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Building Controls systems.
Responsibilities: Lead all field operations related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Building Controls systems. Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications. Work closely with Project Managers, General Superintendents, and trade partners to develop and maintain project schedules. Oversee MEP installations from underground through commissioning and final turnover. Conduct daily coordination meetings and proactively resolve field conflicts and constructability issues. Ensure proper sequencing of MEP work with structural, architectural, and civil activities. Monitor manpower, productivity, material deliveries, and equipment needs. Perform quality control inspections and ensure all installations meet design requirements and applicable codes. Support commissioning, startup, testing, balancing, and owner turnover activities. Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing company policies and OSHA standards. Build and maintain positive working relationships with owners, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or Lead MEP Field Supervisor on large commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center projects. Experience leading complex MEP installations valued at $20M+ preferred. Prior experience with Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Advanced Manufacturing, Food & Beverage Processing, Cold Storage, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, or Industrial projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of commissioning, startup, and turnover processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
