About the role
To support the educational mission, the full-time Assistant Professor of Social Work will teach in their area of expertise, develop curriculum, and engage in research while fostering a respectful academic environment, all in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
Teach courses in social work and maintain the integrity of instructional programs
Develop curriculum for both residential and distance education formats
Engage in research and scholarship aligned with the university's mission
Required qualifications:
Earned doctoral degree or terminal master's degree in a relevant field preferred
Professional certification (e.g., CPA) may be considered
Demonstrated scholarly and professional achievements
Commitment to a biblically informed Christian worldview
Ability to create an inclusive and respectful learning environment
