About the role

To support a company focused on modernizing Department of Defense logistics, the remote SAP Transportation/Event Management SME will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Transportation Management capabilities, enhancing event visibility and operational excellence. Key responsibilities:Serve as the functional lead for SAP TM Event Management, focusing on milestone tracking, event monitoring, and transportation visibility Translate operational requirements into functional specifications and SAP TM solution designs Support integration efforts across various SAP modules and validate system configurations through testing and operational acceptance processesRequired qualifications:10+ years of experience in SAP, transportation management, logistics, or enterprise business systems 5+ years of experience with SAP Transportation Management and event management processes Strong background in translating business requirements into functional designs and system configurations Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience DoD 8140 Level II Certification required
