Window Screen Repair Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Window Screen Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, fabricating and repairing window and door screens. The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Inspection & Assessment: Inspect existing window screens to determine damage and necessary repairs or replacements. Fabrication & Repair: Cut screen material (fiberglass, aluminum, pet-resistant mesh) and assemble frames using splines, corner keys, and fasteners. Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair options, costs, and completed screens
Qualifications & Skills: Experience: 1+ years in window screen repair, glass/glazing, general handyperson work, or residential maintenance preferred (willing to train the right candidate). Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with hand and power tools (spline rollers, utility knives, chop saws, drills, tape measures).
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and comfortably climb ladders. Attention to Detail: Precise measurement skills and quality craftsmanship to ensure clean finish work.
Schedule Schedule: Standard daytime hours (Monday Friday), with occasional weekend or overtime shifts depending on seasonal demand. Work only when screens are needed to be repaired. Position can be combined with part time sales floor work in interested.
