About the role
Leading the development of user-centered measurement, the full-time Senior Quantitative Product Researcher will design surveys, validate metrics, and collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to enhance the Pinner experience, with opportunities for remote work and occasional in-office collaboration.
Key responsibilities
Own the end-to-end development of user-centered metrics, including defining constructs and guiding experimentation plans
Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify drivers behind key metrics and translate findings into actionable insights for product and data science partners
Partner with research managers to set the quantitative research direction and mentor junior researchers
Required qualifications
7+ years of quantitative user research experience with large-scale consumer data, including leading metric development
Deep expertise in survey methodology, statistical modeling, and experimentation at scale
Fluency in R or Python and SQL, along with strong data visualization skills
Proven ability to operate as a peer to Data Science and Engineering, guiding technical work direction
PhD preferred in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
