Job Title: Retail Sales Consultant
Duration: 2 Months with possible extension
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
Job Summary:
Retail Sales Consultants are responsible for sales, renewal, retention, and community penetration objectives by consulting with prospects and existing customers, managing leads, maintaining product knowledge, using sales systems, and conducting networking and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consultative sales and service to customers regarding available products.
Analyze customer needs and match them to appropriate products and services.
Conduct plan comparisons and explain products, benefits, features, and alternatives.
Cross-sell products and process sales through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic methods.
Meet/exceed sales, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction targets.
Manage leads through outbound calls, referrals, appointments, and retention strategies.
Maintain customer relationships to drive retention and loyalty.
Facilitate enrollment and education meetings.
Conduct community networking, grassroots marketing, events, and relationship building.
Build relationships with organizations and networking groups.
Travel to employer groups for onsite enrollment assistance.
Support special events, seminars, promotional events, and clinical programs.
Greet customers, assess needs, host Customer Video Appointments, and provide informational tours.
Track visitor information, enrollment activities, outcomes, and community engagement.
Support team atmosphere and company values.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years related work experience.
Experience in a retail sales environment.
High school diploma or GED.
Florida 2-15/2-40 license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and web-based tools.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with health insurance products, including individual and group plans.
Experience in outside sales and/or business development.
Experience in networking, public speaking, and relationship management.
Bilingual - Spanish.
