About the role
- Lead and facilitate the technical development of architectural projects, consulting with Project Managers and Principals, from conceptual design through construction
- Seamlessly coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, planners, designers, engineers), both internal and external partners, to ensure projects are executed successfully within project budgets
- Develop architectural design concepts in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participate in all design phase activities, providing expertise in detail development
- Create presentation documents (illustrative graphics and visuals) and assist in business development efforts, presenting to leadership, stakeholders, partners, and customers
- Assist and consult on engineering drawings and specifications for all project phases, ensuring that designs meet applicable building code requirements
- Develop Revit models, lead BIM coordination, and lead interdisciplinary model integration
- Licensed Architect is required (RA)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience providing architectural quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), conceptual design, space and site planning, and architectural design services
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited program.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software; to include but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Preferred [but not required]Master’s degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited programNCARB Certificate
- Design-Build experience
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies
- Experience supporting healthcare facilities and project types
- Adobe Creative Cloud
