Forklift Operator - Greenwood Intro At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading foundry in Greenwood. This role involves operating material handling equipment in a high-temperature, industrial environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, heavy molds, and finished castings. Shift Patterns 6:45pm - 7:00am 2-2-3 schedule (12-hour shifts: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on) Pay Rates 20.75 USD hourly Requirements Safely transport raw materials, molten metal ladles, molds, and finished castings throughout the foundry and to shipping areas. Load and unload trailers, trucks, and rail cars using specialized attachments such as clamps or rotators. Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanners to log inventory, ensure accurate counts, and update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment, including fluid levels and battery charging. Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times. Role Operate heavy machinery to move industrial materials. Ensure safety protocols are followed in a high-temperature foundry setting. Coordinate with production teams to manage inventory flow. Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
