About the role
Our company has a contract with the Social Security Administration (SSA) to provide actively licensed and board certified physicians who conduct medical chart reviews and opinions for the SSA disability appeals process. This is flexible work and can be classified as remote non-clinical independent consulting. The volume of case work is quite high so you can participate as much as your schedule allows. Training is provided and there is a credentialing process which we guide you through. If you are interested in learning more - we can set up a brief phone call in order to provide more details/context for your consideration. Perfect for a physician who - is looking to add non-clinical sources of revenue around their main responsibilities - has time to fill in down time with non-clinical work- would like to slowly transition out of patient care to non-clinical consulting Thank you, Adam Taranto, Owner Mednick Associates x 103
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
