About the role

About: I'm partnering with a well-funded venture-backed startup that's building next-generation trading infrastructure and is looking to hire a Quantitative Developer to join its core engineering team. This is an opportunity to work directly with the founders and help build ultra-low-latency systems powering quantitative trading. The company has recently expanded into quantitative trading after successfully building infrastructure in the digital asset space and is now investing heavily in its core trading platform.
What You'll Do:
  • Design and build high-performance trading infrastructure in Rust.
  • Integrate with centralized and decentralized exchange APIs.
  • Build reliable, low-latency systems for real-time trading.
  • Optimize performance across critical execution paths.
  • Work closely with the founding team on architecture and technical direction.
  • Help shape the engineering culture as the company scales.
  • What They're Looking For
  • Expert-level Rust experience.
  • Experience building low-latency, high-performance, or trading systems.
  • Experience integrating with financial exchange APIs.
  • Strong systems programming background.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-moving engineering team.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
