We are currently searching for a National Account Manager (NAM) to build incredible relationships and drive tremendous results with assigned strategic customers.This role will support one of our largest National Broadline Distributor accounts. Ideal candidates will sit near our Phoenix, AZ (Tempe) office to support customer HQ needs.Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional growth and retention resultsBuild, and maintain strong relationships with assigned key customers at all levels to achieve targeted objectivesUnderstand R3's value proposition and execute against it to drive sales and profitabilityDevelop annual organic sales targets and key initiatives and execute against themAbility to communicate, coordinate, and cooperate in sales and execution efforts across the broader organizationAct as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients' requirements are metAnalyze sales data and trends while benchmarking against targets and objectives to drive resultsNetwork with customers to identify and address specific needsDedicated to outstanding customer service in order to build relationships and ensure customer satisfactionSupport relevant and approved events (i.e. tradeshows) that are relevant to assigned customersSupport and drive Division led category and product objectivesAssist Credit Department in management of accounts receivables when requiredPerform other duties and responsibilities as requiredRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and trainingSuccessful sales experience in redistribution, food service, food & beverage, grocery, packaging or another relatable field. Leadership experience a plus.Strong track record in managing relationships and delivering tangible resultsMust be competitive, driven and self-motivatedAbility to think critically/strategically and problem solve using creative solutionsStrong financial acumen (understanding impact of targets and objectives, cause/effect of specific actions)Able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyOutstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside partiesExceptional analytical, organizational and oral/written communication skills in order to successfully sell Bunzl's value propositionAbility to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel requiredSignificant travel is required; be willing to travel nationally to multiple locations as neededBunzl North America is a global leader in the Cleaning & Hygiene, Food Processing, Grocery, Health Care, Non-Food Retail, and Safety industries.
