B2i Digital, Inc. is The Capital Markets Matchmaker℠. We help small and micro-cap public companies get discovered by investors, and we are hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our network of clients and partners. This is not a general sales role. It is about building relationships across the whole capital markets ecosystem: investment banks, broker-dealers, institutional investors, and the advisors that public companies rely on. We want someone who sees how it all connects and can work all of it. We also run B2i Capital, Inc., so a strong background in financial services, capital markets advisory, and investment banking is advantageous, and you can support both entities.
Responsibilities: Build relationships and partnerships across the capital markets, from public company CEOs to investment banks, broker-dealers, institutional investors, and advisors Generate and close new Featured Company, Featured Expert, and Featured Conference engagements Run proactive outreach and keep a real pipeline across both clients and partners Represent B2i Digital at investor conferences and industry events, and work closely with leadership on strategy and follow-up
Requirements: Strong experience in capital markets, investment banking, or public company business development, with a real understanding of the public US small-cap and micro-cap landscape (required)Proven track record of building relationships and turning them into revenue, and comfortable dealing with CEOs, bankers, and investors as a peer Comfortable in a regulated, compliance-first environment, and sees that as a strength Active or prior Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registrations are a plus Fluent in English, proactive, organized, and responsive Based in the US for in-person meetings and events, and available during Eastern Time (ET) business hours
Technical Skill Requirements: Highly proficient in Hub Spot for customer relationship management and sales, and comfortable with Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Zoom, Claude, and ChatGPTB2i is a tech-forward company, so you have to be very comfortable with the cutting edge of how technology supports a business Compensation Structure Starting compensation is $2,500 to $5,000 per month (based on experience), plus a mutually agreed-upon incentive structure. Goal: to be fair. Comp should match the value you provide to the company, measured by revenue generation and client retention. Full-time independent contractor role This role is for someone who already knows this world, has the contacts, and can get moving with minimal hand-holding.
