About the role
Detail-oriented and analytical, the remote contract E-commerce Product Catalog & Research Analyst will manage the integrity, accuracy, and quality of product data across various e-commerce platforms while optimizing listings for SEO and supporting digital merchandising strategies through research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee product catalog data integrity across e-commerce platforms and internal content management systems (CMS)
Review and enhance product titles, descriptions, images, metadata, and categorization to ensure alignment with SEO best practices
Conduct regular audits of product listings to ensure design, content, and merchandising accuracy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field
5-7 years of experience in product catalog management, e-commerce operations, or a similar analytical/content role
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify, Magento) and CMS tools
Good understanding of SEO, product taxonomy, and digital merchandising best practices
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis
