CAD Designer ($22-34/hr)We are looking to hire a CAD Designer to work for a prestigious manufacturer near North Syracuse, NY.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, growing organization and support a fast paced engineering and sales environment.

Duties include: Create and update accurate 3D models and 2D CAD drawings for custom engineered systems, custom equipment, and standard mechanical designs. Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Project Management to complete drawing requests accurately and on schedule. Maintain CAD files and engineering data within Autodesk Vault using established folder structures and naming standards. Develop intelligent models and drawing tools to reduce drawing/document creation time and improve efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating internal and external customer feedback and identifying opportunities to improve CAD processes.
Education and Experience: AAS degree, CAD Certification, or B.S. degree preferred.3+ years of parametric modeling / CAD experience preferred. Experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred.
