About the role

Fabrication/Rigging Installer
The ideal candidate will have: 3 to 5 years experience and be able to perform and direct all fabrication and installation tasks for assigned projects. The Fabrication/Rigging Installer will be expected to ensure quality and safety measures are followed for all in-house and assigned in-field projects, perform testing, provide user training and report daily progress to the Project Manager.
Reports To: Vice President of Integration
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operation and maintenance of all fabrication shop machinery and tools.
  • Proficient in required welding techniques, metal working, wood working and painting.
  • Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbolism
  • Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Service repair repairs of damaged or defective rigging equipment and systems
  • Shop Duties prep/build sales and integration orders/equipment.
  • Select and complete Parts Requisition Forms for ordering of needed material and supplies
  • Perform field installation tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner. Duties may include but are not limited to pulling cable, field terminations, mounting/hanging of projectors, screens, speakers and lighting & rigging hardware.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blue prints.
  • Perform rigging safety inspections as required
  • Provide positive and effective interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other trades on site
  • Act as a mentor for less experienced technicians.
  • Ensure that safety measures are strictly followed at all times.
  • Perform other job related duties or specific projects as required
