About the role
We are seeking a Research Scientist specializing in molecular diagnostics and biosensing technologies.
Responsibilities Include:
Translating academic research into scalable proof-of-concept solutions for molecular diagnostics.
Leading development and testing of prototypes integrating microfluidics, electrochemical sensing, soft electronics, and nanofabrication.
Collaborating with internal teams and academic partners to transition research into commercial products.
Designing experiments for single-molecule detection, assay integration, and sample-to-answer systems.
Protecting innovations through patents and contributing scientific publications.
Advising multidisciplinary teams on biosensor system feasibility and architecture.
Qualifications:
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Physics, or related fields.3-5 years industry experience in biotechnology, with a focus on translating research into products.
Proven expertise in molecular diagnostics, biosensors, electrochemical sensing, micro/nanofabrication, and integrated platform development.
Strong biochemistry knowledge and patent record.
Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
