Position Summary: The Front Desk is responsible for providing superb customer service by answering/transferring calls, greeting walk in customer's and future employees, and overall maintaining the front desk. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will bring positive affirmation for our customers, employees, and possible vendors.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Internal Relationships: All Departments External Relationships: Daily contact with customers, vendors, prospective customers, and prospective employees. Traits Displayed: Ability to exude high energy, solution-based thinking, while focusing great attention to detail and maintaining a service-oriented disposition. Job Responsibilities
Front Desk Job Duties: Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments. Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail, messages and courier deliveries. Provide information about establishment such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided. Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material. Answer and address questions and or complaints. Provide office and clerical services. Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls. Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies. Provide word-processing and secretarial support.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and utilize other forms of communication. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Strong appreciation for the need for respecting confidentiality of sensitive information.
