About the role

Build the Roads That Keep Communities Moving Satterfield Construction is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Asphalt Plant Loader Operator to join our team. This hands-on position plays a key role in supporting asphalt plant operations through material handling, equipment operation, routine maintenance, and quality control activities.
Responsibilities: Load, unload, and transport aggregates, sand, and asphalt materials. Assist with plant operations, including conveyors, mixers, and other production equipment. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs. Monitor equipment and report operational issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Support quality control efforts and other plant duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 80 lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime, nights, and occasional Saturdays as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Construction, asphalt, manufacturing, or equipment operation experience is a plus.
