About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-controlled equipment, automated production systems, and industrial controls. Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Maintain and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, VFDs, starters, relays, sensors, HMIs, and control circuits. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and related systems. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including equipment changeovers, startups, commissioning, and emergency repairs. Lead complex troubleshooting efforts, identify root causes, mentor maintenance personnel, and support equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, safety initiatives, and accurate maintenance documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience supporting automated production equipment. Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar control platforms. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, drives, controls, sensors, and automation components. Extensive experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to interpret applicable schematics and technical documentation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; CMMS experience and knowledge of safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures preferred.
