About the role

CDL Pump Truck DriverYou'll run a pump truck on a set route. At each stop you service portable restrooms: pump the tanks, clean and restock the units, and keep things moving. You'll finish the day at the disposal site. It's physical, outdoor work with real responsibility for the truck and for being on time.
What You'll Do:
  • Do your pre-trip inspection and log it before rolling out
  • Work your route: pump, clean, sanitize and restock each unit
  • Safely back up, park, and maneuver large service trucks and multi-unit trailers into tight or uneven spaces on active jobsites.
  • Keep dispatch posted on delays, site problems, breakdowns or accidents
  • Unload at the approved disposal site and keep your dump, mileage and service logs
  • Refuel, handle basic upkeep and flag anything the shop needs to fix
What We're Looking For:
  • Class A or B CDL; tanker endorsement preferred (Hazmat a plus)3+ years of commercial driving experience5-year driving record that passes our insurance review
  • Comfortable with automatic and manual transmissions; trailer or vac-trailer experience a plus
  • Current DOT medical card, and able to pass a DOT Clearinghouse query
  • Available for some nights, weekends and holidays, including storm and event surges
What Success Looks LikeHigh-Volume Efficiency: You master your route to safely execute 30 to 50+ service stops per day, navigating tight alleys and busy construction zones without incidents or delays. The "Like-New" Standard: You take pride in your work, ensuring every single portable unit is perfectly pumped, power-washed, chemically recharged, and fully restocked at every visit. Elite Truck & Tank Management: You drive defensively to smoothly manage liquid tank "slosh" and proactively monitor your vacuum pump and PTO systems to prevent mechanical breakdowns. Proactive Problem-Solving: When a unit is blocked or inaccessible, you don't just drive awayyou coordinate directly with the site foreman to find a solution or document the issue immediately on our routing app. Flawless Compliance: You maintain an immaculate commercial driving record, complete rigorous daily pre-trip inspections, and ensure 100% legal waste disposal at authorized municipal facilities.

Physical requirements: Climbing in and out of the truck many times a day. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Handling hoses. Bending and kneeling. Working outdoors in heat, rain and cold.
