Job Description
Job Summary: Fast paced dealer only Auto Auction seeking Counter Clerk to assist customers at the front counter by supporting dealer registration, distributing bidder badges, collecting payments, and providing gate passes! Must enjoy a fast-paced environment, superior customer service, and have basic computer/data entry skills. The auctions are held every Wednesday and this position will work 8:00 am -2:00 pm, Wednesday only.
Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Duties/
Responsibilities: Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards all customers and employees. Register new customers, issue bidder numbers, and explain auction rules or terms. Process customer payments and complete steps to process deals. Give gate passes to dealers as appropriate. Assist customers with prompt and courteous attention. Responsible for accuracy in all documents. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities: At least two years of customer experience required. Strong basic math and cash-handling accuracy. Reliable and punctual, with consistent Wednesday availability Strong organizational skills Strong customer service skills and professional presence Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities
Education and Experience: Must be 18 or older High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods of standing and working on a computer.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Work Hours: 8:00 am -2:00 pm, Wednesday only
