About the role
- Build relationships with prospective and returning guests through phone, email, and virtual conversations.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand travel goals, interests, mobility levels, and preferences.
- Manage a pipeline of highly qualified inbound inquiries and repeat guest opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and follow-up plans in HubSpot.
- Provide exceptional responsiveness throughout the booking process.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Guest Services, and Marketing to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Identify opportunities to increase guest value through additional departures, future travel, and repeat bookings.
- Consistently achieve individual and team monthly and yearly sales goals.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in consultative sales, luxury travel sales, hospitality sales, or another relationship-driven sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and guide customers through a high-value purchase decision.
- Strong discovery, listening, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and maintaining CRM records.
- Comfortable balancing multiple guest conversations and follow-up activities.
- Self-motivated and highly organized while working remotely.
- Experience selling luxury travel, adventure travel, cruises, or experiential travel products.
- Personal international travel experience.
- Experience using Salesforce and/or HubSpot.
- Experience working in a commission-based sales environment. New Travel Experience Specialist should expect a comprehensive onboarding and training period. While most team members begin booking travel immediately, it typically takes several months to fully ramp up and achieve consistent sales performance.
