About the role

My Solar Claim is an expert consultancy for solar homeowners. Our sales, analyst, finance and operations teams run every day on internal tools we built ourselves in Replit, a rep portal, pipelines, tickets, queues and dashboards. We're looking for a technical product person who owns these tools and builds them with AI coding agents.
What you'll do:
  • Turn a business outcome into a workflow, a screen and a short task list, then build it
  • Ship improvements every week in Replit with Replit Agent, and use Claude Code or Codex where they're faster
  • Extend what works instead of rebuilding it
  • Keep a simple review and testing loop, so every change is checked by role before it goes live
  • Work directly with our Head of Operations and our CEOWho you are
  • You've shipped working tools a real business uses, built mostly with an AI coding agent, and you can show them live
  • You can explain the problem each tool solved and what changed for the people using it
  • You test before you ship, and you've worked with code review
  • You can read and debug the code the agent writes, no degree needed
  • You communicate clearly in English and are comfortable on camera
  • You work as an individual, not through an agency
How we work Remote, independent contractor, 40 hours a week, long term and close to permanent. $35 to $50 an hour depending on what you've shipped. To apply, share a link to a live tool you built and a 2 to 3 minute Loom on the problem it solved and how you tested it. The process is a short screen, a call with our Head of Operations, then a final call with our CEO.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
