About the role
We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Analyst to join an established Tax team based in Charlotte, NC.The Senior Tax Analyst will play a key role in supporting various income tax functions including tax compliance, provisions, and planning initiatives. This position offers exposure to technical tax issues, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and growing tax department.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax fillings Assist with tax provision calculations and ASC 740 reporting Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities Collaborate with finance, accounting, and external advisors on tax-related matters Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the tax function
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant tax experience; public accounting preferred Strong technical foundation in corporate tax and tax provision Proficiency in Excel and tax software (e.g., One Source, Corptax, etc.)Excellent communication and analytical skillsCPA or CPA-eligible Why Join?
