This client is a highly successful technology company that is investing heavily in modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, automation, and AI-forward solutions. This is an opportunity to join a full-stack engineering team working on a major next-generation platform. As an Automation QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building the automated testing strategy for complex, highly scalable systems. You’ll work closely with Software Development and Operations Engineering teams to strengthen test infrastructure, improve software delivery, and introduce AI-driven approaches to test automation. This is a collaborative environment where engineering quality, innovation, and continuous improvement are highly valued. You’ll have the opportunity to influence testing practices, work with modern technologies, and help shape how quality and automation are approached across the organization. This will be a hybrid onsite/remote position requiring 3 days/week in the office located in DT Denver.
General Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end and integration test suites for complex, distributed systems. Partner with software engineers and Operations Engineering to develop and maintain a robust automated testing infrastructure. Identify manual testing opportunities that can be automated to improve efficiency, coverage, and consistency. Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test strategies, plans, and automated test cases. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and provide meaningful reporting around test status, quality, and performance. Apply testing best practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback focused on code quality, testability, and automation. Explore and implement AI-driven processes and tools to make testing more efficient and scalable.
General Qualifications: Proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex software systems. Experience leveraging AI to automate or improve software testing. Experience with one or more modern test automation frameworks, including: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (any flavor)Development experience with one or more languages such as: C# /.NET, Java, Go / Golang, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure. Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working across Software Development and Operations Engineering teams.
