College Intern / Work Study - Business Analytics & Consulting Bethesda, United States | Posted on 05/04/2026 We are seeking a motivated and intellectually curious college intern or work study student to support business analytics and consulting engagements. This role is ideal for students interested in applying data to inform business decisions, strategy, and operations—without requiring deep technical or programming expertise. This position is a minimum 6-month engagement, with potential for extension. Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: Currently enrolled in a Maryland-based higher education institution, OR A student residing in the greater Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan are Responsibilities Support analysis of business processes, performance metrics, and operational data Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and client-facing presentations Conduct research and synthesize findings into actionable insights Help translate data into business recommendations for clients Collaborate with project teams on consulting deliverables Perform data validation and quality checksAssist with stakeholder communications and documentation Contribute to projects involving emerging technologies, including AI tools Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear business insights Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, basic formulas, data organization) Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working on team-based projects and presenting ideas Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks Preferred (Not Required) Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Familiarity with basic SQL or data concepts (no advanced coding required) Experience with case studies, business analysis, or consulting-style coursework Interest in strategy, operations, or public sector consulting Experience preparing presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides) Curiosity about AI tools and their business applications Paid internship or work study opportunity Real-world experience in business analytics and consulting Mentorship and career development Exposure to diverse clients and projects Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environmentOpportunity to extend beyond the initial 6-month term #J-18808-Ljbffr
