About the role
To support a growing team, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Revenue Specialist will analyze worker's compensation claim payments, research and submit necessary documentation for claims reimbursement, and conduct follow-ups with payers, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate worker's compensation claim payments using proprietary software to ensure compliance with fee schedules and contracts
Research and acquire necessary medical records and documentation to submit with hospital claims for prompt reimbursement
Conduct timely follow-ups with payers to ensure claims have been received and facilitate prompt reimbursement
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
1-2+ years' experience in healthcare billing or collections
1+ years' client-facing/customer service experience
1+ years' experience with workers' compensation billing and collections preferred
Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing
